We are a Canadian site and all of our prices are shown in Canadian dollars. We accept Visa and Mastercard. If you prefer not to enter your credit card information online, we are happy to speak to you in person – just call us at (416) 463-1162 to place your order.
All orders are shipped via Canada Post. We strive to ensure orders received by 1pm will be shipped on the same day. Orders received after 1pm will be shipped the next business day. If an item is out of stock or if there is a question about your order, we will contact you via email and/or telephone.
For delivery within Canada:
Orders within Canada are sent Expedited Parcel; they are trackable and insured up to $100.
For delivery to the Continental US:
Orders to the US are sent Small Package Air; they are not trackable or insured. If insurance is desired, please leave a note in the Comment Section on checkout (or call or e-mail us) and we will add the cost.
For International delivery outside the Continental US:
Orders to international locations other than the Continental US are sent Air Mail if less that 2 kilograms. We will break down shipment sizes greater than 2 kilograms into 2 separate shipments which will mean further shipping costs, but we feel the ground service is just too slow. We will contact you should further shipping fees apply. International orders are not trackable or insured. If insurance is desired, please leave a note in the Comment Section on checkout (or call or e-mail us).
Please also note that The Purple Purl is not responsible for packages that do not arrive. International orders may be subject to customs and other fees. You will receive confirmation from us once we submit your package to Canada Post.
Sales taxes are based on the shipping address of your order within Canada. Sales taxes are not applied to US and other international orders.
We have made every effort to present yarn colours as accurately as possible. Due to variations in dye lots and because computer monitors display colour differently, there may be some inconsistencies.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We are happy to accept exchanges on unwound, regularly priced yarn for store credit within 90 days of purchase if unused, in original condition, and with the original receipt. No refunds apply.
Please note that we cannot accept exchanges or returns on needles, accessories, notions, or any item ( including yarn ) purchased at sale prices.

A store credit will be issued when your return is received. Return shipping charges are not refundable, unless your order was filled incorrectly. We cannot assume responsibility for exchanged items lost or damaged in shipping.

Mistakes happen. Occasionally there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, and availability.
